13 Facebook accounts allegedly operated by ISI under scanner  2 Months ago

Source:   Times Of India

LUCKNOW: 13 Pakistan based Facebook accounts having 1100 friends from India have been zeroed-in by officials of the Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorist Squad (UPATS).

The UP ATS claims that the profiles, by different names and identities, are possibly operated by Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).

These suspicious accounts were revealed during scanning of over several hundred Facebook profiles following arrest of BrahMos engineer Nishant Agarwal and BSF jawan Achuytanand Mishra, who had fallen into the ISI trap after chatting with similar fake Facebook accounts being operated from Pakistan.

IG (ATS) Asim Arun said that probe into the 13 FB accounts is underway. “We are checking profiles of all 1100 users one-by-one according to their profession and also what kind of information have been exchanged by them to those Facebook users,” Arun added.
